Buraq Flash · Buraq Table
Terms
Last updated 2 September 2026
Short and plain. These terms cover ordering lunch from Buraq Flash (you pay) and Buraq Table (your employer pays). By placing an order you agree to them.
1. Who we are
BuraqHospitality Ltd, company no. 17153833, registered in England and Wales, registered office 30 Pennant Crescent, Cardiff CF23 6LN. Registered food business with the City of Cardiff Council (Shared Regulatory Services). Cook and director: Hooria Khalid. Email hello@buraqhospitality.co.uk · phone 07767 192008.
2. Ordering and the cut-off
- We deliver Monday to Friday. First deliveries are on Monday 28 September 2026; before then you can pre-order launch week.
- Order by 10:00 (UK time) for delivery that day. After 10:00 your order is for the next working day.
- We don't deliver on weekends, bank holidays or any closure dates we publish in the app.
- Your order is accepted when we confirm it (on screen and by email). If we can't make a box — an ingredient hasn't arrived, the kitchen has to close — we'll tell you as early as we can and refund you in full.
3. Prices
- Buraq Flash: £9.99 a box until 31 October 2026 (usually £15). Buraq Table: £14.99 a head until 31 October 2026 (usually £20), delivery included, from five people.
- A box is a hot main, salad, a raita pot and a drink. Prices include delivery across Cardiff and any VAT due.
4. Payment
- Buraq Flash: card, Apple Pay or Google Pay when you order, taken by SumUp. Pay on delivery is offered to returning customers only and is at our discretion.
- Lunch Pass credits and stamp rewards can be used at checkout (see section 8).
- Buraq Table: one itemised monthly invoice, payable within 14 days by bank transfer. Where an employer sets a per-head allowance, any amount above it is paid by the person ordering.
5. Delivery
- Between 12:00 and 13:00, to a workplace address in Cardiff postcodes CF10 to CF24 or the Cardiff Gate and St Mellons business parks. Checkout checks the postcode; if we don't deliver to yours yet, we'll say so before you pay.
- We deliver to reception or the drop point you name. If nobody can take the box we'll leave it at reception where we can and message you.
- Boxes are packed hot. Eat within an hour, or refrigerate within an hour and eat by the next day; reheat once until piping hot; never reheat rice twice.
6. Cancelling and changing an order
- You can cancel or change free of charge until 10:00 on the delivery day, from your orders in the app. Card payments are refunded in full to the card you paid with; Lunch Pass credits and stamps are returned.
- After 10:00 the pots are on, so we can't cancel, and we can't refund a box that wasn't collected from the drop point.
- Because meals are perishable and made to order, the 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 doesn't apply once cooking has started.
- If a box arrives wrong, late or not as described, tell us the same day and we'll replace it or refund it.
7. Allergens
- Every box contains milk (the yoghurt). We make the boxes without the other 13 listed allergens as ingredients. The full sheet is at /allergens.
- If you have an allergy or intolerance you must tell us in the notes when you order, or by phone before 10:00. If we can't be sure a box is right for you, we'll say so and refund you.
- Buraq Table samosas contain wheat; channa chaat contains milk.
8. Lunch Pass and stamps
- Lunch Pass: 5 boxes for £47.50 or 10 boxes for £90, bought in the app. Credits are valid for 90 days from purchase, used oldest first, and are for the account that bought them.
- Stamps: one stamp for each paid box delivered. Nine stamps make your next box free; the free box must be claimed within 31 days.
- Credits and stamps have no cash value and aren't refundable except where the law says otherwise, or where we cancel your order.
9. Buraq Table
- From five people at one address. Headcount confirmed by 10:00 the working day before delivery.
- A trial week with no long contract, then one itemised monthly invoice on 14-day terms.
- The organiser who sets up an office is responsible for the invoice and for telling their team these terms apply.
10. Our responsibility to you
We're responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We don't limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else the law doesn't let us limit. We carry £5,000,000 public and product liability insurance.
11. Complaints and law
Tell us first: hello@buraqhospitality.co.uk or 07767 192008, and we'll sort it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales.
